Return Of The Sugarhigh

So anyhow, as Evil is gone to see her male friend (and probably smoke and get stoned), I decided to go on an enveloppe quest. Of course, my quests are never simple, so I wandered around until I found a shop selling paper; and since I was in the neighbourhood, I dropped by the candy shop (I've spent 40$ there so far, in 3 visits). I love the owner, whom I met last time; he told me how energetic I am, a wonderful young lady, and that I shouldn't doubt myself (I was telling him about my job and my issues to speak to people). He's great, he reminds me of the 'nice old gramp' stereotype... anyhow, today as I told him my bosses hadn't returned my calls and that was discouraging, he told me to go see them. Go see them, for myself; to know why. It was impossible they didn't -like- me, he said (as I had sighed). So I followed his advice - dropping by Simons and buying a shirt first of course - and I learned my employer's daughter (who takes care of the schedules) has been busy planning her wedding. Oh. So they weren't exactly ignoring me, but still. The mean old owner told me there wasn't enough business, and they cut a lot of employees (seeing as I was new...). We spoke some more, me telling her I was going back home soon for my studies and all... She wished me good luck, and it was honest. I left the shop relieved and content. I -would- have stopped by the arcade on my way back, but I had no change. So I got a henna tattoo instead, in the small of my back (I'd have liked it 4 inches lower, thanks). The horse design I wanted wasn't available anymore (grr) so I just took one made of lines. And now I'm back home, high on sugar. Hey, I think this is my first time posting twice in a day. :D
